Research Associate

Raquel Wright-Mair is a Research Associate of the CECE Project. Raquel also serves as a Research Assistant for the Vice Chancellor of Campus Life and Inclusive Excellence at the University of Denver, and she conducts research that is grounded in social justice and focuses on issues of access and equity in higher education. Raquel also has a Master's of Science (M.S.) in Higher Education Administration. She is especially passionate about understanding and advocating for the creation of more inclusive campus environments for underrepresented populations. Through her research, she examines the experiences of students, faculty, and administrators of color on college campuses and examines structures, policies, and systems necessary for their growth, development, and success. Raquel is also an Inclusive Excellence Fellow at the University of Denver.



Research Associate

Varaxy Yi conducts research that focuses on educational access and equity for historically underserved communities, such as refugee populations and Southeast Asian college students. Additionally, she is interested in understanding the structures, systems, and environments in postsecondary institutions that foster success for all students. Varaxy holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. She is also a Graduate Fellow for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Interdisciplinary Research Incubator for the Study of (In)Equality (IRISE) at the University of Denver.
