Samuel D. Museus is an Associate Professor of Higher Education and Student Affairs at Indiana University and Founding Director of the CECE Project. Museus has produced over 200 publications and presentations on diversity and equity, campus environments, and college student outcomes. These include dozens of peer-reviewed articles in several top-tier academic journals and 10 books, including Creating Campus Cultures: Fostering Success among Racially Diverse Student Populations (2012) and Racism and Racial Equity in Higher Education (2015). His work has been featured in various national and international media outlets such as NPR and the Boston Globe, and he has received several national awards in recognition of the impact of his scholarship, including the Association for the Study of Higher Education's (ASHE's) Early Career Award and NASPA’s Outstanding Contribution to Research and Literature Award. Museus has also consulted with colleges and universities, in the U.S. and internationally, that seek to transform their institutions and cultivate more inclusive and equitable campus environments.
